Introduction

For this coursework I'm going to make a short film which introduces the idea of female mass murderers and revenge, having seen programs and films such as American Horror Story, The Silence Of The Lambs, Zodiac and Mr Brooks as my inspiration. 

In my opinion, we don't have many films which have the idea of a woman killing as murder is looked at as a violent crime and is stereotypically aimed towards men committing those crimes as women are portrayed as the weaker sex and not able to kill because they have a more 'maternal' instinct, so by taking those stereo typical ideas of society I am going to create an out of the ordinary short film which consists of revenge between a nasty man and a very vengeful woman who commits some of the worst crimes in history.

I want to challenge societies thoughts of females being the weaker sex and make an independent, mad woman who is not presented in a typical way.
